About Me
I work across music education, creative production and artist development.Much of my work has happened in rooms where people are trying to make something uncertain become real: a track, a performance, a programme, a direction, a way forward.I make music as Deftside and release through Koha Records. That project keeps me close to the process: sound, rhythm, texture, doubt, revision, instinct.Derivations Lab grew from the same place. It is a space for mentoring, coaching and production — creating the kind of environment where creative transformation can happen.I am interested in the point where technical skill meets feeling. Where structure gives freedom. Where someone starts to recognise their own sound.
